Ornamental Plants - American Serpentine Leafminer: Spraying is started as soon as the first signs of leafminer are seen. Spraying may be repeated if necessary. There should be at least 7 days between sprayings. Cotton-Red Spider Mites: Plants are checked when they have 4-6 leaves in order to determine the control time. If the pest is only locally visible at the field edge or inside the field, only these parts should be sprayed. It should be applied if an average of 5 live red spider mites are found per leaf in the Mediterranean region and 10 in the Aegean and Southeastern Anatolia regions. Pear - Pear Psyllid: Spraying is carried out when almost all eggs laid by overwintering generation adults hatch, stage two and three nymphs begin to appear and more than 15% of the shoots are infested. When an individual is seen on each shoot, that shoot is considered infested. Apple - Red Spider Mite: The acaricide should be applied if an average of 8-10 live individuals per leaf are found in periodical counts to be performed on 100 leaves from the beginning of May. Tomato, Pepper, Cucumber, Gherkin, Eggplant- Red Spider Mites: It should be sprayed if an average of 3-5 live red spider mites are found per leaf on tomato, cucumber, gherkin and eggplant, and 1-3 live red spider mites are found on pepper. Strawberry - Red Spider Mite: Early application: In problematic strawberry growing areas, a spraying should be carried out if red spider mites are found in flower and green fruit stages (before the first ripe fruit is seen). Early application is safer as it leaves no residue on the fruit. In-season application: In cases where early application is not made, open-grown strawberries are checked at the beginning of the season (late March/early April) at 3-5 day intervals. Red spider mites are found on the surrounding plants at the beginning of the season on strawberries. First, it is enough to check these plants and spray. If the population spreads, at least 50 leaflets in the middle and lower part of the plant are checked to represent the field. If 15 or more red spider mites are found per leaflet, the spraying is decided. Spraying is carried out immediately after collecting the fruit. They should be harvested by considering the time between the last spraying and harvest.
