Sector Tarım, which operates in plant nutrition, crop protection and seeds for agricultural production, aims to expand its presence in global markets by increasing its production capacity to over 100,000 tons. Active in the sector for 25 years, the company continues its efforts to bring its domestic production strength to international markets through its facilities in Konya and Aksaray.
AKSARAY – Speaking at a press meeting held at its new 45,000-ton-capacity factory, Sector Tarım Chairman of the Board and CEO Fuat Kunduracı said: "In the medium term, we want to raise our capacity to over 100,000 tons by adding shifts and focus on international markets. With our high-quality products, we aim to be present in 35 countries, particularly in Europe."
Kunduracı also stated that, through the Dr. Sector Science Center established in 2016, they have developed biological products that leave no pesticide residue as well as R&D solutions, and that they contribute to sustainability in agriculture through collaborations in seed production and biological control.
Holding 235 plant nutrition and 95 plant protection licenses registered by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, the company also serves as the Turkey distributor of international brands such as KWS, BASF and Grupo Inesta.
