Category: Crop Protection
Product Group: Insecticide (Insecticide)
Active Agent: 100 g/L Spirotetramat
Formulation: Suspension Concentrate (SC)

Against pear psyllid: One application may be sufficient when almost all eggs laid by overwintering generation adults hatch, stage two and three nymphs-adults begin to appear and more than 15% of the shoots are infested, sweetish substance leakage begins and natural enemies are not many. Against Apple Aphid: If 15 infested shoots are seen during the vegetation period, it should be applied. Against Peach Aphid on Peach: It should be applied when 7 infested branches are found in 50 trees from the appearance of flower buds until 3/4 of the population turns into the winged form. Against White Peach Scale on Peach: The application is made against the first and second generations. Two applications are made, one when the larvae first emerge and the second 20 days later. However, for the second generation, it should be taken into account that some peach varieties have reached harvest time. Against Aphids on Lettuce: The field is entered in the direction of the diagonal lines, and every 3 to 5 steps, a leaf is randomly selected among the fresh leaves and shoots of the plants. As a result of counts made with magnifier on 20-40 leaves, control should be started if the number of pests per leaf is 10-20. However, parasitoids and predators should be monitored and the efficacy of beneficial insects should be considered before deciding on an application. Against Tomato (Greenhouse), Eggplant (Greenhouse) and Pepper (Greenhouse) Tobacco Silverleaf Whitefly: The area where an infestation of silverleaf whitefly has been detected is entered in the direction of the diagonal lines. Every 5 steps, 50 leaves are collected from the bottom, middle and top leaves. Chemical control begins when there are 5 larvae-pupae per leaf. Against Citrus Mealybug in Grapevine: Control is performed in two periods. The first period is the time when the bark of the vine becomes wet and the citrus mealybug begins to move to the green parts. At this time, the unripe grapes are almost as large as chickpeas, and the application should be made only on the vines where the citrus mealybug is seen. The second period is the time when the citrus mealybug moves to leaves and clusters and the berries begin to sweeten. If infestation is detected in most of the vines and also in exported varieties, it can be applied in both periods. Against Cotton Aphid on Watermelon, Potato Aphid on Tomato: The field is entered in the direction of the diagonal lines, and every 3 to 5 steps, a leaf is randomly selected among the fresh leaves and shoots of the plants. As a result of counts made with magnifier on 20-40 leaves, control should be started if the number of pests per leaf is 10-20. However, parasitoids and predators should be monitored and the efficacy of beneficial insects should be considered before deciding on an application. Against Cotton Aphid on Cotton: If field inspections reveal beneficial insects in large numbers in addition to aphids, application should be postponed. Application is recommended if 50% infested seedlings are found after dilution in the seedling period and 25 aphids are found on an average of 1 leaf during the field period.
